Thanks to Amygdala one of the central mysteries of the universe is explained: to wit, why the heck somebody thought that guitar-playing, off-key singing spong-monkeys would be useful in selling (admittedly-tasty) hot submarine sandwiches.
God, I really am getting old. I must concentrate on the fact that somebody called these things hell lemurs – which, really, is a great name for an animal species, or possibly a garage band – or maybe this. My girlfriend picks the darndest times to start singing along to this one.
And don’t let yourself get sucked back into this, if you value your soul.
They have a pepper bar!
Y’know, this has to be one of the best ad campaigns ever; who the hell hasn’t had nightmares about it?
I’d like to see an album of my favorites from the spong-monkeys, now that I have time to reflect. Weird, me? You talkin’ to me? You think I’m funny? Funny how?
Oh, the badger stuff is great. Have you seen the Lord of the Rings one?

They are great at being memorable. However, since I’ve seen the ad prior to tasting the product my desire to sample Quiznos is now zero. Rodents just don’t sell the food industry as well as one might imagine.
Hey! I posted here about those critters weeks ago. grumble grumble how do you search the archives, darn it….
