  1. Blah. Nah. This is just more ‘Will Hillary run?!’ titillation. The People Magazine side of politics.
    The mystique of the Big Dog is totally incompatible with being John Kerry’s vice president.
    It’d be like Reagan replacing Cheney (all questions of infirmity aside, of course. I mean purely in terms of legacy).

  3. Neat idea, except for the 12th amendment:
    “But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.”
    Which, apparently like the 2nd, the NYT is all too happy to disregard!

  7. Better yet, Moe, if we’re going to go with former presidents, how about Kerry/Bush (and not W.) On foreign policy matters, it could almost happen.
    But no to the first proposition even as an entertaining idea. Though, of course, I liked the country better under him, looking just at his actions I prefer Clinton as an ex-president.
