We were able to catch an early flight, so we’re back and ignoring laundry until tomorrow. I am proud to say that I was successfully able to ignore all sources of news during that time, with the exception of this blog. I’ll have resumed playing Righty counterpoint by tomorrow, just as soon as I catch up on my reading.

PS: The Iowa caucuses (caucusi?) aren’t exactly what I had in mind when I said that I’m going to try to figure out primary winners beforehand, but I’ll give it a shot anyway. Gephardt barely in first, but in a statistical tie with Dean and Edwards. Kerry won’t do as well as he thinks he will, but will probably hit the magic 15%.
I’ve probably guessed this one wrong, of course.
UPDATE: Thank goodness for Fafblog: I’m all caught up, now. Caught up in what is another issue.
ANOTHER UPDATE (1/20/04): Replace ‘probably’ with ‘so wrong it’s literally upside-down’. Kerry, Edwards, Dean and Gephardt. On to New Hampshire and more bad predictions!
If the plural ended in ‘i’, it’d be cauci, not caucusi.
