I’ve never attended the annual Radio and Television Correspondents Association’s dinner in Washington, where the media and DC politicos mix and laugh it up, but I usually get a full report from a reporter friend, so I’ve always wished I could. Apparently it’s one of the best shows in town. The President always speaks and the tone of the jokes is generally expected to be sophisticated, up-to-the-minute, self-depricating, and very insider.
I’m sure President Bush, who will speak and has reportedly been very funny in the past, has his own writers, but just in case he’s not satisfied with what they’ve shown him so far, Howard Mortman, a producer for “Hardball with Chris Matthews,” has volunteered the following, very funny monologue
That is extremely funny. Thanks.
