I say ‘unfortunately’ because as Andrew Sullivan illustrates the attitude that great benefits would come from the presumptive Democratic candidate publicly breaking with the out-there elements of the antiwar movement, and somebody who thinks that Senator Kerry is a tool of the neocons would have been a perfect choice for that…

OK, I know that all this “Sister Souljah moment” stuff is conventional wisdom and everything, but does it really have universal utility?
I wrote more or less the same thing for an American paper. Unfortunatley it has a circulation of just a few hundred, being a student paper for a tiny liberal arts college.
