*Not surprising, as she has a Bachelors in Medieval Studies. And one in Mechanical Engineering; Masters in same [just got looked at by her; it was actually Aerospace engineering**], now that I think of it. Going for her doctorate in Engineering, as well. Which would explain why she’s doing roboticist work for the Naval Research Lab, obviously, but not why she speaks three languages and plays four musical instruments. It also doesn’t explain her abilities as a AD&D dungeonmaster – oh, yes, she’s a sci-fi/roleplaying/medieval re-creationist geek – although I suppose that the chemistry she picked up along the way might explain the meadmaking.
