Have returned from vacation; have surveyed the world; have decided that the whole subject-verb-object thing was wrong from the get-go. New rule: use sentence fragments whenever possible.
Was here:
(View of Prospect Harbor, Maine from the front porch of Cabin von von-family.)
Was quite nice.
Wow…thanks Von.
Set that as my new computer wallpaper. Beautiful and peaceful.

Welcome back. You’ve been missed.
Advice: run, do not walk, back to the cabin. Turn off radio and TV. Do not read newspapers.
Sentence fragments sufficient. Point comes across. Articles not so necessary, either.
Alternatively, end-stop your sentence you can. Sound like Yoda you will. Perhaps like Yoda wise you will become, in vacation paradise you will stay. Yes? Blog from elysium? Yes. Work not make one great.
Fragments fine. (But no excessive punctuation.. Irritates Gary!!). More impressed by palindromes.
A von spot tops a nova.
