Following my snide remark regarding blogospherian X, I should praise blogospherian Y

What?  What’s that you say?  You say that blogospherian Y once got into a pissing contest with blogospherian X, and that by praising Y in an attempt to make up for snidery to X, I’m actually committing another snide offense against X?  Horrors!   Maybe I shoulda praised Z instead . . . .
