WEDNESDAY, Jan. 12 (HealthDayNews) — Americans need to consume fewer calories and exercise more to maintain a healthy weight, according to new dietary guidelines released Wednesday by the federal government.
Damn. Well, if "the federal government" says you can lose weight by consuming fewer calories and exercising more, I guess it must be true.
There goes my plan to lose 10 pounds by adhering to a rigid schedule of Thickburgers and blogging.
i love the whole thickburger ad campaign . they aren’t even pretending it’s good for you or smart or anything – it’s all about manly self-indulgence: loud cars, dirty trucks, blowing off the women to play mechanic, etc.. compared to the way the other fast food chains are mincing about with their Atkins this and low-carb that, “now with more Quorn!!”, a commercial that just says “it isn’t about your f*cking arteries” makes me smile.
Ooooooooooh, eat less and exercise more. That explains what I was doing wrong. Thanks, America!
