  1. Interesting though that Fox leads (among TV news organizations) as the most trusted for accurate reporting…
But then I’m not sure how you compare TV news against a weekly publication.

“Most trusted”, presumably, by the people who don’t realize that Fox News is feeding them Republican propaganda thinly disguised as “news” – or who prefer to trust Republican propaganda over actual news?
After all, finding out what’s really happening might make a person feel uncomfortable. Safer to trust the news show that says reassuring things that “everybody knows” are true.

  3. Hey I just said it was interesting. I don’t watch them either unless someone directs me to something in particular.
Their success though came from something. My best guess is that many on the right felt the news was biased against them for years and years – so when something came along that seemed neutral to them they jumped on it.
However, a discussion of media bias won’t be any more productive here than a discussion of abortion is. So I’ll shut up now. 😉

Sure. They’re telling a lot of people exactly what they want to hear.
Rupert Murdoch runs media services all over the world. He’s very good at running very successful media companies – but a trustworthy source of reliable news he is not.
There’s a great interview with him here in Doonesbury, which I think even a conservative might find amusing.

Their subliminal mind control programming is very, very good.
    Thanks –
