  1. I read that! As a kid I thought it was depressing. As an adult I got acquainted a litte with the historical background, the story of what happened to the tribal people who were not hidden on an isalnd, and that’s een more depressing.

  3. My grandmother took me to see the movie, and I cried. Then I read the book, which was even better (as always) than the movie.
    But as Lily pointed out, very depressing to think of how Europeans treated the Natives.
