I have to say, Bob Casey was pretty good. Both with the “that’s not a maverick, that’s a sidekick” and the “they say four more years, how about four more months” lines.
Lily Ledbetter is also pretty damned good. This is powerful stuff.
Oh My! I was a big Sebelius supporter. Seeing her tonight was just sad. She would have been a disaster as a VP (granted, I am looking at her through Biden colored lenses now).
McCain better be shitting through 2 assholes after Biden finishes with him tomorrow.

John, Mark Warner wasn’t dull. I just wish he’d put in some criticism of the Republican Party. The man leads his opponent by 26 points in the polls. I think he can afford to act a little like a Democrat.
And does anyone else think Rachel Maddow makes Nora O’Donnell seem stupider than usual? I need to go back to C-Span.
I liked Ledbetter’s message, but jeeze she bored me.
Gov. Patrick was pretty good and I’m enjoying Gov. Schweitzer. He’s a fun guy to watch.

Even leaders in the oil industry know that Senator McCain has it wrong. We simply can’t drill our way to energy independence, even if you drilled in all of John McCain’s backyards, including the ones he can’t even remember.

I’m curious as to how many emotional comatose speeches you’ve heard, and who gave them.
I loved Ledbetter’s speech. I haven’t seen it yet, but I heard the whole thing on the radio.
She’s one heck of a governor, but yeah that was rough. Bored freshmen in speech class seem more excited.
Oy. Yeah, I like Sebelius a lot, but charisma counts. It counts for a lot in politics.
Now I’m really glad Obama went with Joe Biden.
