Where Von Leads, I Must Follow (Updated Blogroll)

Because I am a copycat, I too have updated my blogroll. Brief descriptions below the fold.

Bull Moose and New Donkey are two very interesting policy people working for the DLC. Ed Kilgore (New Donkey) is its policy director. Marshall Wittman (Bull Moose) used to be a McCain Republican and worked for the Heritage Foundation before moving to the DLC. You can read about his interesting progression here. Both he and Kilgore are centrists, and both are very insightful commentators and very much worth reading.

Legal Fiction is Publius’ blog: very thoughtful, very good. Left2Right is a blog run by a collection of philosophy professors, and any of you who are interested in questions like whether progressive taxation can be justified should read it. Hullabaloo is farther left, and Digby (its author) does ‘scathing’ better than just about anyone else. If you don’t know The Poor Man, you should. Just head over and read it right now.

Angry Bear and Brad Setser are two very good economics blogs. Pharyngula is mostly about biology, and Effect Measure is public health. All of them are worth reading regularly (but then, of course, if I didn’t think so, I wouldn’t have put them on my blogroll.) Enjoy!
