Norm Geras and Gregory Djerejian (of the Belgravia Dispatch) are new. Each is worth your time.
Hmm. I must be in somthing of an Anglophilic mood. (Or, for Djerejian, an ex-pat-ric mood.)
UPDATE: If you’d like to propose other blogs that we all should be readin’, or if you’ve blogrolled us and haven’t received a place on our ‘roll in return, let us know in this thread.
How generous — Obsidian Wings is blogrolled at Maternal & Child Health (http://childhealth.typepad.com/) and I would be glad to be listed on your site.
Oh good, I’ve been meaning to say something about this – you have me listed as a regular (which I think is giving me too much credit, because my comments are, unfortunately, few and far between) but I actually no longer blog at the old blogspot address. So I would recommend striking me and adding Chez Nadezhda and Praktike’s Liberals Against Terrorism instead, and not just on the basis of my contributions either.
Ah, yes, American Footprint is no longer operative, either.
Thank you both. I’ll adjust the blogroll accordingly. (I noticed Praktike’s blog a bit ago, and it’s a sign that I’m (a) demented, (b) evil or (c) demented and evil that I didn’t immediately add it.) The “Maternal & Child Health” blog, of which I was not previously aware, also seems to be a worthy addition.
And thanks, Praktike. Will do. (Some of these changes won’t take place four a couple days, but, I assure you, they will take place.)
Off topic… There’s an article in NY Post that mentions this tid bit about Lynn Stewart:
City Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Brennan said Stewart might not have played footsie with terrorists had she been punished for her role in a drug case — in which she entered a plea of guilty in 1999 to criminal contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor.
Under the so called “Alford” plea, Stewart admitted prosecutors had evidence to prove the case but did not admit wrongdoing.
Yea, who cares, but here’s what shocked me – Stewart “acted out of principle” in the contempt case, said her husband and spokesman, Ralph Poynter
Husband??? She’s married?
Cool.
You’re on my blogroll at Philosophy, et cetera. I didn’t realise you guys do reciprocal links, but they’re always appreciated 🙂
Yup, so long as you don’t lean Nazi or KKK, and you aren’t considering or engaged in litigation against us, we do reciprocal links. Just let us know.
(It’s going to be another couple days before I even look at the blog again — I’m swamped and multitasking as I type — so please be patient.)
not that reciprocation was assumed to be part of the deal, but i’ve got you guys up at MoonOverPittsburgh
( href=”http://moonoverpittsburgh.blogspot.com )
thanks for the consideration, and for maintaining a great site.
Obsidian Wings has been on my blogroll for quite some time.
Allright, all the blogs mentioned in the thread should be included — generally in the backscratch category, though because I intended to add Praktike to my blogroll, I’ve put him on mine. (Frankly, I’d prefer to simply call everyone who isn’t on a specific blogroll a regular and eliminate “backscratch” entirely. Perhaps I’ll speak to the powers that be.)
Perhaps I’ll speak to the powers that be.
Talking to yourself again?
