Thoughts and prayers.
Damn it Bill…you knew all those Big Macs would catch up with you, but you gobbled them down anyway… 😉
When you get home, after you’ve recovered, would you use your celebrity to educate folks, please?
what crionna said…”Thoughts and prayers”
Again those darn Clintons are taking the limelight away from Kerry.
Joking.
Best wishes to a young man who America needs to live into his “elder statesman” period.
I shudder to think what Dick Morris’ next column will contain.
Will he blame Hillary?
I think he just might.
Get well, Big Dawg. Your nation needs you.
All is going to be fine. His condition is stable and the procedure is not even scheduled until tomorrow. The doctors said if it was serious he would be in the operating room right now.
I must say, despite my partisan view of Redstate’s quality, that the linked post was classy. I doubt the “no sniping tolerated” warning was needed. My appreciation to President Bush for his remarks noted here – and to be non-partisan I bet under a Kerry presidency similar comments on a major medical emergency for ex-pres 43 would be met by boos by a partisan crowd from my side.
On this last point and the slaughter of Russian schoolkids I cite a poem of mine about the joy of nihilism: “Sometimes I’m glad the world is only worthless and not worse.”
Best wishes to Bill Clinton.
This kind of thing is bad news and good news. Bad news, because it’s a severe condition. Good news, because when you do coronary bypasses before anything actually breaks, the prognosis is good. When coronary conditions like this are
Bill’s got to cut back on the fatty food though. (No surprise there!)

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Ideology and character are independent. For all my policy disagreements, the RedState crew is by and large very upstanding. I have no idea why people tend to organize by ideology rather than by character, but it seems to me it causes a lot of problems.
Krempasky and the rest of the Restate crew are class acts.
And add my prayers to the others’ for Clinton.
Awww… that ain’t right.
Anarch, a diary on kos says that on review of the video there weren’t boos. Let’s hold up on this.
Yeah, one of my friends just told me the same thing. I was hoping it was a fault in the reportage; looks like we might’ve done right by this one.
This sound clip suggests that the AP was mistaken.
He and his family have my best wishes.
No prayers from me…since I don’t pray, but best wishes and good thoughts to the big dog from me and mine.
