And if you’d care to write the companion article which analyses the likely effect on the Republican party of Bush’s defeat in November, followed by a probable 8 years (and possible 12-16 years) of Democrat President(s), that would be at least as interesting.
After all, since you can’t come up with a non-hypocritical reason for supporting Bush over Kerry, it would follow that it’s likely a good many other liberal Republicans are also feeling that they have no good reason to support Bush over Kerry.
