Short debate, really.

Come on, with a title like this – Nader, Dean to Debate if Ralph Should Run – the answer’s bloody obvious, isn’t it? Nader says yes, Dean says no, Nader says yes and sneers, Dean says no and gets a little flushed, Nader screams Yes, Dean shouts No, Nader starts shoving metal spikes through a rag doll ritually prepared to represent the Democratic Party, Dean pulls out the holy water, silver nitrate and a long wooden stake, they both assume their Crinos form, the Classic Star Trek fight music starts up and we end up with a trashed sound set and a bunch of gibbering radio engineers.

(pause)

Actually, on second thought all of that sounds kind of interesting. July 9th, is it?

  1. Moe, you realize that you’re now obliged to write and produce Candidate: the Pontificating (A Storytelling Game Inside The Beltway), right?

  2. Believe me, there are worse.
(Seriously. I ran into “Who’s The Daddy?”, a board/card game of questionable paternity, last week in a game store. Next to that, pretty much anything would be sheer brilliance.)

  3. You? In-jokes? Never. 😉 I figured you were, but I felt strangely compelled to pass on the horror of “Who’s The Daddy?”. Toxic memes indeed.

  4. Off topic, but apparently the Classic Star Trek fight music is called “The Ritual, Ancient Battle, 2nd Kroykah.” I bought the MP3 off of EMusic ages ago.

  5. I lost it completely at “Crinos”. I suppose that suggesting the Delerium explains a number of things about Nader would just be asking for trouble?
Really, though, Protean’s not what you want to fight someone in Crinos. Obenebration is a good bet, since you get range, and there’s little better than Horrid Form if you do have to go mix it up hand-to-hand.
Um, at least I have the excuse of getting paid to write some of that stuff….

  7. I wonder what a Tivo would have to have taped in the past for it to automatically choose this for its owner on the 9th?
