Former President Clinton’s book is supposed to be coming out this summer, as I’m sure most of you know; amusingly, the New York Post apparently couldn’t decide to go with the “Damn, is this ever going to mess up Kerry!” angle or the “He’ll never finish it in time! Never never never!” – so they went with both.
I figure that they felt like covering their bases.
Anyhoo, what does it look like from the other side of the fence? I mean, I pretty much planned to ignore the book, just like I ignore every other partisan political book (from both sides) that comes down the pike, but is it going to have an impact? And if so, is it going to be positive? Enquiring minds want to… no, wait, that’s referencing the wrong tabloid.
Barely.

You kidding? We’ll take all the traffic we can get. 🙂
I was going to email you about this, but since I’m already leaving a note here, I’ll say it here. I’ve really been enjoying this blog. It’s moved up into my priority list of blogs. Good stuff.
It’s rare that a group blog “works”. I didn’t think it was possible to have a group blog with mixed political leanings, but you guys make it work…even the people with whom I generally disagree.
I think it’s the even, respectful tone.
At any rate, good work…all of you.
Gee, great job, John: thanks to the laws of narrative irony the (counting on fingers, subtracting, adding, taking the square root) bunch of us posters here are now going to have to have a multi-sided blog war over nothing in particular. Lemme just get my back to the wall, here… 😉

Even though you didn’t give a reason for avoiding partisan books coming down the pike I disagree with it. Those books are replete with facts you are unaware of, and reasoning that didn’t occur to you. I highly recommend any of the partisan books coming down the pike.
The reason I don’t read them is they are boring, no time, and I’m lazy.
