Somebody set it up off of our XML feed. My thanks to whoever did it, but why didn’t you say something?
Moe
UPDATE: I ask only because I don’t have the foggiest about how to massage that information out of LJ.

ummm I’m shy. What exactly does this mean?
Means that if you have a livejournal account you can now add Obsidian Wings to your friends list and view it as if it were another livejournal.
It doesn’t mean anything for the Obsidian Wings collective, except maybe a slightly widened audience, and it doesn’t mean anything to the Obsidian Wings readership, unless, like me, they happen to have a livejournal.
Moe, I don’t know who set it up: could have been any paid member. I don’t think there’s any way to discover who did it: syndicated journals don’t list the readers by username.
Hm, I probably should have done that a long time ago, but I’ve been addicted to me RSS reader. I did add it to my friends list, though, so I can — shhh — read at work.
Weird. The LJ feed is getting only summaries, but I swear I get the entire post from my newsreader’s ObWi feed.
carpeicthus, that’s normal for LJ; feeds like that typically get truncated if they’re above a certain length.
As for who started the syndication, my guess would be malcubed; I have no idea who this is, but he was the only LJ user subscribed last night (before carpeicthus and Jesurgislac added the feed) whom I didn’t know. 🙂 Incidentally, it appears that the feed has been live for about a month and a half.
And something I forgot – a handy tip for the LJers in the audience. LJ provides a way, albeit obscure, to find the users who list a certain account as a friend (as is needed to find out the readers of a syndicated feed):
http://www.livejournal.com/directory.bml?fr_user=<username>
For instance, to find the readers of the ObWi syndication, the link is
http://www.livejournal.com/directory.bml?fr_user=obsidian_wings
Hope this helps!
…which, I have just realized, may only work for paid users. :/
