I was pretty sure I had cobloggers: guess that they’re in the middle of prepping for Christmas, or something.
(pause)
Slow day today, huh? There was that earthquake in California, but other than that it was a pretty quiet Monday. I like quiet days, tell you the truth: they seem rarer than they used to be. I dunno whether it’s because things are busier, or whether I just care more.
Still: you guys come here for something interesting – so interesting you shall have.
Yup.
Indeed.
Any second now.
Aw, who am I kidding? I can’t remember anything that I wanted to blog about while at work and I haven’t started going through the night’s roundup yet. Fafnir’s got some new posts up: go read him while I scheme and ponder.
Moe, I apologize. I’ve been deeply involved in a piece of litigation that’s managing to ruin, well, pretty much everything. (Great timing w/r/t the holidays, no?)* I should get a breather this afternoon, though.

*As my wife will attest, I have a history of this. I’ve written briefs on Xmas morning, drafted discovery requests on Thanksgiving (between bites of turkey), worked through at least a portion of every vacation I’ve beenm on (save my honeymoon, thank God), and nearly managed to ruin a New Year’s eve by not departing the office until 10:30 p.m. Ahh, well — the exciting life of a lawyer.

Everything?
In the world?
Moe, you’ve got to let von off the hook. This is too important.
Everything?
In the world?
Feels that way, sometimes.
Fafnir, BTB, is brilliant. Get thee to his site and read.
I love Fafnir…just when I think I’ve figured out the rhythm to his madness, he throws me for another loop.
Perfect holiday reading.
Good luck on the litigation, Von.
Was reading Fafnir’s Orange Alert post and was pretty much straight-faced until the mentions of The Prisoner and ‘Santa Condition’ came in. Great stuff.
Also love the ‘Saddam still captured’ posts of a week ago. Bearing in mind some pointless media coverage, had been considering doing something with the same title myself – note to self: if you don’t do it, someone else will.
