I love Smeagol…he’s so human…I mean hobbit…I mean…aw, forget it…he’s cute….of course, I understand from friends who’ve read the book (yes, shame on me, reading Sarte and de Beauvoir when there was Tolkien to be enjoyed) that Smeagol is not so adorable in the novels.
