  1. you misspelled Aragorn.
    (/geek).
I have been ordered not to see it until my sister gets back into the country. Sigh.

  2. And here I thought you were trying to scare your co-blogger off from seeing the movie by making vaguely dramatic threats about the demise of a historical queen that she might have identified with (Catherine of Aragon, of course)…
Damn, I went a long way there for a pretty weak joke.

  3. I love Smeagol…he’s so human…I mean hobbit…I mean…aw, forget it…he’s cute….of course, I understand from friends who’ve read the book (yes, shame on me, reading Sarte and de Beauvoir when there was Tolkien to be enjoyed) that Smeagol is not so adorable in the novels.

Basically, to make the battles more realistic they individualized the CGI soldiers’ reactions. But:
“this attempt to ensure that they acted spontaneously almost sabotaged the the battleground sequences.
“For the first two years, the biggest problem we had was soldiers fleeing the field of battle,” Taylor said.
“We could not make their computers stupid enough to not run away.” ”
