As you may have noticed, the blogroll has been cut up – as near as I can tell and remember – into all of our particular choices. I’ve added another one which will be added to based on various suggestions that either I or one of the other bloggers agree upon.
Bear in mind that I may change it back, as I’ve also registered this site with NZ Bear’s Ecosystem, and I’m not entirely sure that it’ll pick up on the new blogroll. Current Ecosystem status of Obsidian Wings can be found on the About page, as I can’t figure out how to make it appear on the main page itself.
While we’re on the subject of the Ecosystem, there’s a minor issue: there was a minor goof when I registered OW. I used http://obsidianwings.blogs.com/obsidian_wings/ as the main URL instead of http://obsidianwings.blogs.com/ – both work as links and I should have put both in, but I didn’t. Apparently, NZBear is currently overwhelmed by trying to play catchup, to the point where it’d be easier for me to ask anybody blogrolling this site to make sure that they use the first URL for the link. Sorry about that.
Finally, I’d just like to note that my girlfriend, upon seeing me tap tap tap away at the keyboard – while I’m also trying to explain to our (liberal) housemate just what, precisely, a VRWC Death Beast was – started rubbing behind my ears and going (in a tone usually used with puppies), “Snuggy-wuggy little deathbeast with fuzzy little horns and a cute little spikey tail”.
(pause)
Yes, yes, I know, sharing violation, ten Yards. Just thought it was funny, that’s all: she apparently finds it endlessly amusing that I can call myself a Death Anything with a straight face. There’s a moral, there: normally, I’d say it’s not to take myself too seriously, except that I don’t think that I could take myself any less seriously than I do now…

More than one, not all.
(Sullivan and Instapundit have their moments occasionally, but:
1. they’re utterly dishonest when it suits them.
2. everyone knows about them, when there are much better bloggers out there. This fills me with irrational annoyance–they’re the “Titanic” to Drum’s, Marshall’s, Barlow’s and Tacitus’ “L.A. Confidential”, the “Gladiator” to their “Traffic”…)
But if we’re co-adopting blogs I want TalkLeft and Kos. And where has angua’s blog disappeared to?
It’s a travesty Instapundit has six times the audience of Tacitus.
It is indeed.. though perhaps just as well, as I imagine Tacitus could get a might .. unruly if it did draw in those numbers. I can barely keep up with comment threads these days as it is.
A layout suggestion though: why not put the group blogroll choices at the top? Seems a more natural fit to me, really. But as you like.
